“One who has never been to the Great Wall is not a true man”. It is known to all that The Great Wall is the great miracle, created by the working people in ancient, and The Great Wall also is the evidence of Chinese long history. With the Tiananmen Square, and Terracotta Warriors, it is as a symbol of China. What’s more, it is also known as "the Great Wall" due to the length. The Great Wall was built in brick and stone. With no doubt, It is recorded that the emperor used nearly one million workers, accounting for the country's population of 1 / 20, to build the Great Wall, and there was no any mechanics, so all the wall has to rely on human labor. The total length of the Great Wall is 8851.8 km, and the length of artificial walls of which is6259.6 km, and trenches and natural insurance length of which is 2592.2 km.
