Mountain Tai is also called Daishan, DaiZong, Daiyue, and Dongyue. So many names it is that Mountain Tai is the one of the famous mounts. As we know, Mountain Tai is known as the first seen in the "Book of Songs", and, absolutely, "Tai" means great, smooth, and well-being.


With no doubt that the Mountain Tai is located in an unexpected edge of the Qilu country, which was ruined by several factors no matter nature and human in the world. We never fail to notice that the tall and majestic natural scenery is positively infiltrated by spiritual and cultural values. And the lovely place certainly attracts great attention, which positively has result from the charming scenery and the friendly people. We are obliged to admit that great emphasis is placed to the value reflected from Mountain Tai in terms of the spirit of a microcosm of Chinese culture. Now, Mountain Tai undoubtedly has become the world's precious heritage.


It is known to all in the world that Mountain Tai, certainly, is a symbol of the Chinese nation and the epitome of splendid oriental culture. As we know, Mountain Tai is included in World Natural Heritage List in the 1987 in accordance with the selection criteria C (I) (II) (III) (IV) (V) (VI).
