As the birthplace of Chinese Taiji, Chenjiagou is absolutely located in Jiaozuo City (formerly known as Chang Yang village) in Henan Province. In Ming-Hong Wu years, Pu Chen, a Shanxi-born farmer, moved to the village. Positively, with the rapid reproduction of Pu Chen, the number of people who lived in this beautiful village creased at a high speed, so this lovely village was called Chenjiagou.


Then, martial arts attracted Pu Chen’ attention, and a large number of schools of martial arts had been set up in the village, which offered plenty of chance for the children even the younger to gain the knowledge of Taiji Quan and applied this style of technology into the real life. As we know, people lived in Chenjiagou never cease to learn Taiji Quan from generation to generation, for no sports play more significant role in health no matter mantel or physic than Taiji Quan. With no doubt, the setting of Taiji Quan’s schools exerted a serial of deep and extensive influence on the development of Chen Taiji. After the gradual evolutions of Chen Taiji, there were other kinds of Taiji, which became prevailing all over the world, such as Yang Taiji, Wu Taiji, and Sun Taiji.


So marvelous are Taiji Quan that more and more emphasis is placed on this interesting sport in the world. It is know to all that, Taiji Quan, as the essence of Chinese martial arts, since the 80's, was revered as a special tourism projects by the China National Tourism Administration, for its unique charm to the world tourism development What’s more, since 1992, there have been successfully held five annual meeting of Taiji. Certainly, Taiji is so popular world-renowned sport, that it can attract not only domestic but also foreign guests to visit this pretty birthplace of Taiji.
