Wing Chun

On the other hand, it is pointed out that the Wing Chun Quan Kung Fu is named by a person, called Yan Wingchun, who is of great value in the Chinese history of Kung Fung.
We should never fail to notice that, as one of the most popular modern martial arts in Chinese, Wing Chun Quan develops at an unprecedented speed in Europe. What’s more, the study even the improvement of Wing Chun Quan, absolutely is based on the body operation of structure, joint activities and the fluid dynamics. Moreover, Wing Chun Quan completely divorced from the traditional spirit of Chinese Kung Fu, even has non-scientific logic to explain the similar philosophy.
There is the other saying of the origin of Wing Chun Quan. According to "Wing Chun Quan and White Crane Boxing Book" records, white crane boxing is created by the Fang Qiniang, who is the only daughter of Fang Chong, the expert of Shaolin outside the north side of Funing State (now Xiapu County) in the Qing Dynasty (1644 ~ 1662).
As the story goes, Fang qiniang, who is weaving at home, sees a white crane flying above the beam by a wonderful and elegant gesture. The lovely dance positively absorbs her attention. So Fang Qiniang never stop to create a martial art which combines a variety of crane dance and Shaolin martial arts, trying to create a unique style of martial arts.
Wing Chun Quan Kung Fu was undoubtedly placed great emphasis by a part of people, who lived in the Wing Chun Quan County. As we know, Wing Chun Quan Kung Fu makes the largest, the most extensive, and the deepest effect in Wing Chun Quan County. Because the origin of these people is in Wing Chun Quan, this boxing is also known as "Wing Chun Quan and White Crane boxing".
