Taiji Quan in Japan
Since the 80's in the last century, along with the upsurge of the East-West cultural exchanging and China continues to deepen reforms, the beginning of the contemporary Chinese martial arts, including Taiji are disseminating in the world. The modern Taijiquan in Japan lies in the Taijiquan for strengthening. It started among the private. The Japan Wushu Taijiquan federation is an association admitted by the government. In its field , with orthodoxy , unity and direction in its work , it forms a vertical structure with three steps. Judging from the development of it , the federation grows steadily like a process of “Weiqi” (The game Go”). Besides the promotion between the strengthening and contest which lays a firm foundation, it is developing in perfect order , and has great potentialities.
